The Shoe
This Derby-style shoe is my first venture into traditional shoe design and leather craftsmanship. The project involved learning key techniques in pattern making, stitching, and finishing, deepening my appreciation for the intricate artistry of shoemaking.

Pattern Planning
The most important parts of pattern making were to make sure the accuracy of measurements and adding additional allowances for trimming.

Construction Part 1
putting the upper and lining together with rubber cement then stitch them up with leather sewing machine.

Construction Part 2
insert toe and counter stiffener, nail the upper and lining to the bottom of the insole. Trim off the access leather before applying contact cement. Then pull all the nails before installing outsole and leather heel.
